I think its a good gun. I really like shooting my XD-40 in 5 inch, and esp like having the grip safety for CCW. I think they need to work on the trigger pull, and the finish though. My kydex holster...

Well, I agree that Kydex is hard on em, but the XD finish holds up worse than most IMHO. My Glock 17 has seen several matches and is no worse for wear. The XD hasnt yet seen anything but some practice...

Be careful with Clays, go by the book. It is very fast burning and can give high pressure with deceptively mild felt recoil. Some of The Other Guys were pounding guns pretty hard with Clays and heavy...
